That's me, doing one of my favourite things, riding. |
So I am the author of this blog, a 14 year old girl. I am currently travelling around Australia with my parents and 4 siblings. I have loved travelling, and all the various experiences and places we have seen (did a post here on 9 favourite things about travelling).
I love reading, and especially like
history and information books. I also like horses, drawing,
photography, cooking, swimming, sewing, crocheting, and cross stitch.
My favourite food is pasta. I am a christian, and my favourite book of the bible is Psalms
I chose to write this blog as a record
of our travels. I have greatly enjoyed doing this, and I know my
writing has improved by me doing this (what a great way to do
English, and fun).
My favourite places of this trip have
been:
-Swifts Creek, as the scenery was
absolutely beautiful.
-The Kimberly, the sheer beauty of this
region astounds me, and the water was perfect for swimming in, if
there was no crocs.
-Exmouth, as the underwater life here
was so varied. Even though we had a lot of dramas there, is still
remains in my mind as a favourite place.
-Esperance, because of the beaches.
Clear white sand, and turquiose water. I only with that it was bit
warmer so I could swim in it!
My favourite camp spot so far has been
Neds Camp, in Cape Range National Park, Exmouth.
There is also a website we (Dad and I)
have created. It has reviews on all the towns we have visited, with
accommodation, eating out, and places to visit.
So now I will introduce the rest of the
family:
Tahlia |
Chloe |
Chloe (7): Chloe is a energetic 7 year old, that is constantly talking. She is a real chatterbox, and the things she talks about range so much it's funny. She is very quick and intelligent, and is currently enjoying doing schoolwork. She really loves riding her bike, and is quite energetic. She also likes to read, and likes to read stories together with Tahila.
Then there's me.
Joel, with a 93cm mulloway from Derby |
Joel(15): Joel is a avid fisherman, that doesn't really catch any fish. But, the only fish he does catch are big and are good eating! He likes trying to fix things (and sometimes actually does fix things), and is extremely good at telling other people his opinions. Called 'black and white' quite often, Joel has very set ideas and will express what he thinks ten times over if he thinks we are not doing it the way he would.
Josh |
And then there's Mum and Dad (no, I wont tell you their age), the best parents in the world.
Dad |
Mum |
Hi Bethany and Family, Finally found your blog, it was lost there for a while. We think of you often and miss you as always. We hope that all is well and look forward to seeing you one day soon, when you stop having so much fun and living life to the fullest. Although I suspect it is not all roses. Our best, Madeleine and crew.
ReplyDeleteGlad you found it again! Thanks for keeping up. Should be back in September. Look forward to catching up with everyone again!!
