These Were:
- Air-conditioner
- Bike rack
- Metal mesh on the A-frame to store things while travelling
2 water tanks (85L and 50L) installed by a friend. The water tanks were connected to a hand pump, enabling us to have water while free-camping.
- 2 spare tires for our caravan on the rear bar which hosted our bike rack.
- A metal rod for hanging clothes
- Removed the electric stove and range-hood on the bench
After we had set off we did several more modifications to make the caravan more live-able in.
- In Armidale we removed our table. It is now replaced with a bi-fold table.
- In Cloncurry we rotated the bed 90 degrees. It required us to also move a set of drawers.
- In Darwin we ripped out our kitchen and replaced it. The old kitchen had got moisture in it and was rotting away. We also didn't have a lot of storage place.
- A pipe on the back of the caravan for awning poles, fishing rods e.t.c
